Terms and Conditions*

• You must be an American Express Centurion cardholder resident in Australia to benefit from this offer.
• To gain your President’s Circle status, you must enrol in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards via : www.hertz.com.au/amexcenturion/auz.  A welcome pack will be sent out when upgrade has taken place. 
• To receive the benefits associated with Hertz President’s Circle membership, your Hertz Gold membership number must be quoted at the time of reservation.
• All of the benefits described are available across all Hertz Corporate locations across Europe, plus participating franchisee locations across the rest of EMEA. Exceptions apply. When renting outside of EMEA, Centurion benefits will differ in other countries/regions. 
• In all cases, a valid American Express Centurion card must be used to purchase this offer or by entering the Cardmember’s American Express benefits-enabled Gold Plus Rewards membership number at time of reservation. American Express Centurion Card members may use this offer as many times as they desire during the validity period.
• Renters must meet all Hertz qualifications, standards and requirements as per the terms and conditions of Hertz rental agreements. Visit the Hertz website at www.hertz.com for full details.
• Hertz reserves the rights to modify and/or cancel these Centurion Card member benefits, including amending the list of participating locations at any time without prior notice.
• Should you cancel your American Express Centurion Card membership, your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership will not be cancelled, however you will not receive the portfolio of Centurion Card member benefits described. American  Express will notify Hertz of such cancellations. 
• Reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior to vehicle pick-up
• Offer may not be combined with any other promotional offer.
• Hertz reserves the rights to modify and/or cancel any promotion at any time without prior notice.

Discount savings:

• Up to 20% off best publicly available rate, or best rate available to any American Express consumer Cardmembers at participating Hertz locations worldwide. Some market exceptions apply.  * Exceptions to 20% discount: Denmark - 15% off domestic rentals, Australia - 10% off best domestic published rate and 15% off affordable inbound rate. In China, discount is off chauffer drive unless a mainland Chinese driver's licence is held.  
• Discount is off Hertz publicly available retail rates (excluding Special Offers) at time of booking at participating Hertz locations worldwide.
• Vans and commercial vehicles are not eligible for the discount .
• The discount applies to base rate quoted (excluding taxes and any other charges). It does not apply to affiliated rates or rates that are already discounted. Discount does not apply to Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft protection (TP) (unless included in the base rate), Vehicle Licensing Fee (VLF), any surcharges (including but not limited to location surcharge or Young Driver Surcharge), taxes or any additional charges and optional extras such as excess waivers (SuperCover), Personal Insurance, snow/chains/tyres, child seats, GPS and fuel which are charged at normal rates.
• When booking, prepaid rates are quoted in home currencies (e.g. Sterling when booking from UK), non-prepaid rates will be quoted in the local currency (at the rental destination).  
• A 4-hour no charge grace period before an extra day charge is applied when returning the vehicle in Corporate Europe, the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Middle East (with exception of UAE and Bahrain who offer a 2-hour grace period) and selected European Franchise countries: Balearics, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Macedonia, Nigeria, Norway, Portugal, Romania, and Turkey . Asia, with the exception of China, offers a 2-hour no-charge grace period.  
• Fee-waived one-way domestic rentals in Corporate Europe, US, Canada and some selected Franchise locations: Austria, Bahrain, Balearics, Canaries, Iceland, Ireland, Jordan, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, South Africa, UAE.  
• Guaranteed availability of a car at corporate locations (Europe, US and Canada). Also available in selected locations in Franchise Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. In Asia and Latin America, guaranteed availability is for up to full size with 24 hours’ notice.  
• Free child seats, subject to availability in Hertz Corporate Europe, US, and selected locations in  Franchise Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Asia with the exception of China.  
• Free ski racks, subject to availability in Corporate Europe and selected European Franchise  locations.

Guaranteed One-Car Class Upgrade  

• Guaranteed one-car class upgrade is available with a minimum 48-hour advanced reservation. One- car-class upgrade is offered at participating Hertz locations in the U.S., Canada, Namibia, South  Africa and participating airport locations in Europe (Brussels, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg,  Munich, Stuttgart, Helsinki, Oslo, Rovaniemi, Turku, Paris Orly, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Marseille,  Nice, Toulouse, Lyon, Bordeaux, Athens, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester,  Edinburgh, Birmingham, Dublin, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Amsterdam, Vienna,  Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Stockholm, Goteborg, Geneva and Zurich). Not available in UAE, Oman and Egypt. In Australia and New Zealand category and location restrictions apply. In Asia a one-car class upgrade will go up to full size only and is not available in China. Maximum upgrade is to a full- size car with a minimum reserved Compact vehicle. Guaranteed upgrade is to the next car class only.  This excludes Special Equipment such as Minivans, SUVs and Hertz Collections vehicles. Upgrades do not apply to rentals longer than 30 days.
