You are our first priority. For your safety, Hertz does not permit towing any type of vehicle or trailer. Additionally, Hertz rental vehicles are not equipped with tow bars and we do not install them or permit their installation.

Insurance policy coverages vary. You should review your policy or consult with your insurance agent to determine what your policy covers. Hertz offers optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) which, for a separate charge, relieves you of responsibility for loss or damage to the rental vehicle, provided the terms and conditions of the rental agreement are not violated. Hertz also offers optional Liability Insurance Supplement (LIS) which – for a separate charge – provides primary third-party liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage to a limit of liability of $1,000,000 combined single limit.
