Since joining the ALP program with Hertz's finance organization - I have traveled/worked in 4 countries, had substantial impact on business transformation initiatives, and have seen how the business runs through a finance lens fairly comprehensively. Had I of pursued my functional interests exclusively upon graduating business school, I would have missed out on this incredible breadth of opportunity - most of which was unforeseen the day I started with the company.

I have been challenged and have grown in ways that I had not anticipated, which has prepared me better for assuming a leadership role within the corporation. Additionally, the advantages of joining a newer program versus a more established program is having opportunities that are far more entrepreneurial. Hertz can be very "hands off" to allow you to try your hand at business issues while learning on senior management as necessary for support/experience.

 About the Program
The Hertz Accelerated Leadership Program (ALP) is designed to provide high potential candidates the opportunity to receive concentrated and accelerated development to advance their careers while building leadership skills.
This program is targeted for MBA graduates who have demonstrated leadership experience, strong initiative and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Rotations
Candidates selected will be a part of an intensive 27 to 36 month program offering up to 4 rotational assignments in various business areas including corporate and headquarter functions.
