Stop by the Little Mermaid statue

This illlustrous neo-Baroque building is simply incredible, and once you’ve got your tickets you can walk through its grand corridors to marvel at the intricately decorated ceilings and embellished rooms.
The Great Hall is perhaps the most impressive room, lined with magnificent tapestries and a grand black and white tiled floor. You can also stop by the Throne Room and see the balcony where Danish monarchs are proclaimed. Some of the palace’s rooms are still used by the royal family even today, and the Prime Minister of Denmark also hosts functions here.
